2024 Extension Master Gardener Volunteer  Application for Transylvania County
Thank you for your interest in the Transylvania County Master Gardener Program. We have a long history of community involvement and education. The Master Gardeners create, support and enrich Transylvania County Extension's educational programs. We need good people who are familiar with using non-biased, research based information to educate and empower the citizens of Transylvania County.

Master Gardener Trainees will attend class every Tuesday from 1:00 to 4:00PM from February 6th to April 23th. Each trainee donates 40 hours in our approved community development programs throughout the 2024 calendar year. Absences are allowed, but will need to be discussed with the county director. The cost of the class in $200, which pays for your textbook, state association fees, and 2 really nice Master Gardener shirts. This will be due on the first day of class. PLEASE NOTE: if this cost prohibits you from taking the class, communicate with us and we may be able to assist as appropriate.
